Celebrating Our Second Cohort

This fall semester, we challenged our second cohort of Creators students to develop apps that tackled the Sustainable Development Goals. The projects were:

KĀHILI by Ashley Holen (Data Science) and Kanani Tim Sing (Environmental Studies)

ME & SDG by Soraya Ortiz (Environmental/Interior Design), Sameera Elmasri (Biology), and Selena Buttery (Data Science)

LĀ’AU FRIENDS by Kyle-Jacob (La’a) Gamio (Environmental & Data Science)

HOPE HUB by Lavelle White

The students had the opportunity to present their app prototypes to app developer Brian Dote, Dr. Gail Grabowsky, Ph.D., and Sustainable Analyst Connor Flynn, who provided professional and valuable feedback and insights on the iterations and improvements for their apps. We are proud of their work and their commitment to being part of this cohort, as app development is new territory for most of them.

We are looking forward to continuing to work with you all in the spring semester. For now, have a wonderful winter break! You all deserve it!
