The ‘Īnana Sustainability Entrepreneurship Program: Sparking minority entrepreneurial innovation in Hawai’i-Pacific undergraduates supported by the Minority Business Development Administration (MBDA) launched in 2023 with three main goals and the following activities.


GOAL 1

Design and deliver curriculum enhancements and programming in support of student entrepreneurship.

Develop and pilot a new island-economy focused Entrepreneurship course sequence in the Environmental and Gen Ed curriculum.

Develop an island-focused Entrepreneurship for the Pacific certificate program under the United Nations CIFAL Center at Chaminade.

United Nations Entrepreneurship Short Course

Develop ‘Pathways to Entrepreneurship’ activities and programming to recruit interested and talented students into the entrepreneurship pipeline.

Become an `Inana Creator

Design and implement new programs supporting on the job training and entrepreneurship enrichment activities.

Become an `Inana Intern

Recruit students to paid internships embedded in businesses and agencies
